JAVA-JIANKUN Racing Team & JAVA-Guangdong Mud Legion Race Recap
Riders from JAVA-JIANKUN Racing Team and JAVA-Guangdong Mud Legion competed at cycling venues all across the country, ranging from the loess hills of Northwest China to diverse tracks in multiple provinces. The races have been in full swing since early this month, so we’ll skip the preliminaries and dive straight into our latest race results!
Linyao Cross-Country Challenge, Gansu
June 2, 2026 | Ziyun Cup Gansu Linyao Cross-Country Challenge
The race unfolded on the vast Loess Plateau under blistering sunshine. The undulating track was riddled with mounds and potholes, creating a bumpy ride that severely tested riders’ stamina.
Gao Yanjiao delivered a steady performance in the women’s category. She maintained consistent pacing amid unpredictable terrain and claimed the women’s runner-up spot.
Liulin Bowl Noodles Cup · Yellow River No.1 Tourism Highway Open Race
June 14 | 3rd Yellow River No.1 Tourism Highway Cycling Race (Liulin Stage)
The race kicked off amid rainfall, drawing over 700 riders nationwide to compete side-by-side. Running alongside the Yellow River, the 50-plus-kilometer course featured endless bends and gentle gradients, a grueling test of endurance.
Rain persisted throughout the competition, leaving roads slippery and visibility poor, drastically raising the difficulty level.
Fresh off her second-place finish in the Linyao cross-country race, Gao Yanjiao stormed to the women’s road race championship in this rain-soaked battle. She pulled ahead of all rivals and crossed the finish line unrivaled through sheets of rain. Coming off an off-road silver to claim a road race gold—her prowess speaks for itself.
Teammate Ma Jing stayed composed amid the treacherous wet conditions and finished 6th in the women’s road division, adding valuable points to the team tally.
Changtang Town Melon Culture & Tourism Festival Mountain Cross-Country Race
June 14
Heavy downpours prior to the race drenched all mountain trails. The looped mountain course was covered in steep slopes and slippery mud pits, doubling the difficulty of riding.
Our riders rose above the muddy conditions without hesitation. Fu Guiyan pushed relentlessly from start to finish, carving clean, controlled lines through corners that sent mud flying off her wheels. She fought her way through the mucky terrain to secure women’s second place. By the end of the race, she was covered head-to-toe in mud, looking like an adorable mud ball ^-^
Lanzhou Climb Race & Xingtai International Road Race
Two separate races ran simultaneously that day.
Nearly 600 riders tackled the 42-kilometer hilly course at the Lanxi Climb Race. Liu Yongling held solid climbing form and took 4th place in the women’s group.
The Xingtai International Road Race welcomed over 1,000 domestic and international competitors in a fiercely contested field. Zhao Youjin stayed calm through the final sprint and earned a solid ranking.

VISCO Wild Downhill League
2026 VISCO Wild Downhill League, Tuanjie Mountain Bike Park Season 2 | June 14
Downhill enthusiasts flocked to Kunming to showcase their skills on the professional 1.8-kilometer trail with a 200-meter vertical drop.
Young talent Wang Yucheng from JAVA-Guangdong Mud Legion turned in an outstanding performance. Sharp cornering and stable landings secured him 3rd place in the U15 Junior Category!
Tips for Riding in Rain & Bike Maintenance
Wet pavement drastically reduces traction. Slow down when descending or turning; avoid sudden braking to keep stable control.
Rain can obscure your vision. Wear waterproof gear while riding for clear sightlines to assess road conditions safely.
Detour around deep puddles and thick mud to prevent dangerous wheel slippage.
Muddy courses drain energy rapidly. Slow your pace when fatigued—fun and safety always come first!
